The Orlu United Medical Foundation (OUMF) is a registered Public Private Nonprofit Public 501(c)(3) organization, with goal to raise funds, awareness, and support the programs and services at Orlu United Medical Center (OUMC) aimed at providing services to the uninsured, reduce health disparities and disease burden, and provide nursing education to support the foundation mission.
Mission Statement
OUMF mission is to raise funds and awareness for bringing affordable and quality health care to the doorsteps of all citizens; and advocate for social justice and equitable healthcare for all.
Vision
- To redefine the possibilities through telemedicine technology.
- To transform and modernize Imo State System of Healthcare to one that is comparable to that of Western Countries.
- To re-educate the Nigerians citizens on self-health promotion, utilization of healthcare services in Nigeria and acceptance of a health delivery system that is comparable to those of industrialized countries in the convenience their own homes without the hustle of traveling abroad.
- Design a health care delivery system that is high quality, innovative, accessible and eliminates poor health outcomes.
- Develop a professional workforce that is skilled, competent, compassionate and dedicated to the improvement of the health of the patients and the community.
